PYCM CHASSAGNE MONTRACHET VIEILLES VIGNES 2022 750ML
Pierre-Yves Colin-Morey’s 2022 Chassagne-Montrachet Vieilles Vignes is sourced from mature parcels that speak directly of Chassagne’s limestone-rich soils. A layered, terroir-driven white Burgundy with serious ageing potential, it channels the tension and power that has made PYCM’s name synonymous with benchmark Chardonnay.
There’s reduction on the nose to start—pure Colin-Morey style—before it opens to oyster shell, crushed stone, and ripe citrus. The palate follows with concentrated texture, flashes of orange pith and marmalade, and a peppery edge that speaks of depth and structure. No lees stirring, no filtration—just sharp cellar work and purity of site.
Best from 2026–2034. Chardonnay. Raised in 350L oak barrels for up to 18 months. Ideal with grilled kingfish, roast pork belly, or aged hard cheeses.
