Caroline Morey hails from a long line of vignerons in the Côte de Beaune and is married to Pierre-Yves Colin-Morey. In 2014, she established her own domaine in Chassagne-Montrachet, utilizing family vineyards inherited from her father, Jean-Marc, and working out of new cellars built for her and her husband.

Caroline's winemaking style in the cellar is similar to her husband's, employing a light touch with mostly 350-liter barrels, no more than 30% new oak, and no battonage for the white wines. For red wines, she adapts to each site and vintage, often incorporating a small percentage of whole bunches but never exceeding 50%, which she deems excessive. After five vintages, it is evident that Caroline has swiftly ascended to the premier tier of Côte de Beaune producers, creating a very small and highly esteemed estate. With limited quantities produced, her wines are rare and sought after.
