A. GERE VILLANYI CABERNET FRANC

A true delight for the senses, showcasing the essence of Hungarian winemaking expertise. It opens with inviting aromas of ripe red cherries, blackberries, and a hint of herbs. On the palate, it reveals layers of rich fruit flavors, balanced by a touch of spice and well-integrated tannins, leading to a smooth, elegant finish. Explore the complexity and sophistication of this exceptional Cabernet Franc. Sessions at Arden - Fine & Rare Wine and Spirits Expert.

Critic tasting note: (2009 vintage) "Red wine with a dense ruby towards black centre, slightly tawny on the rim. Nice intensity of aromas here, it has a certain evolution, it has a good deal of complexity, quite layered, with elegant dark fruit, fine spices. There’s a clear sweetness here in terms of ripeness of fruit, with cassis and sweet plum, with fine spices and some notes of leather. No noticeable oak. Very nice palate; I think this is a wine where the extract is perfectly integrated today, with a good density of fruit. I think this has got a slight hint of what I call “aged sweetness”; it’s not sweet per se, but it’s still offering a slightly rounder impression of that ripe fruit, with cassis, plum, some aromatic herbs, fine pepper, some meaty notes. Really intense and weighty, with a good emphasis on fruitiness, with a really dense and rich texture, a great wealth of elegant dark fruit, and a long lingering finish. A wine with a perfect drinkability today, but I think with this structure it will keep gaining complexity for another few years. Very nice." - 91/100, Andreas Larsson - Tasted
