54% Gewürztraminer, 30% Pinot Gris,16% Muscat
Our 2023 Cross Breed displays lifted aromas of Rose water and jasmine leaps from the glass, gradually giving way to notes of preserved Apricot and nuances of dried Apple.

The palate is fruit forward, with ripe stone fruit giving the illusion of sweetness ahead of a saline core of fine sinewy skin derived tannin. A bead of bright acidity brings focus, drawing the palate to a long lingering finish reminiscent of white peach stone and fennel.

Alcohol: 14.1% 

Ph: 3.52

Acid: 5.56

Sugar: <0.5g/L 

Cellaring potential: Best enjoyed whilst young and fresh, however will age for up to 5 years if well stored

Winemaking: The fruit for our 2023 Cross Breed was Hand picked, destemmed and  combined into a small open fermenter where it was allowed to ferment  naturally in the same fashion as our Pinot Noir. 28 days on skins with  gentle cap management has provided a fine structural tannin profile and  extraction of the characteristic orange hue from the grape skins.
